ABOUT ME
MY STORYBritish–Finnish soprano Yolanda Harding is a Helsinki-based artist combining classical performance with bold, imaginative concepts.
Yolanda, a small-town girl from Dorset, UK, began her artistic journey with big dreams. She started in musical theatre and dance before discovering a passion for opera—an experience that continues to inform her curiosity, versatility, and unique approach to storytelling..
A Sibelius Academy graduate, she has sung with the Savonlinna Opera Festival and Finnish National Opera, premiered new works, and won the ‘Laulun Valo Competition’ with her REM-dream-inspired concert.
Her musical foundations were built in the UK, where she earned an Opera Diploma at Associated Studios and a Bachelor of Music from Royal Holloway. She later returned to London for a 2025 concert performance with renowned British soprano Felicity Lott.
Upcoming projects include Nabucco in Antwerp and a Finnish tour of her immersive interdisciplinary work with pianist Reetta Järä.
