British–Finnish soprano Yolanda Harding is a dramatic, theatrical, and heartfelt performer whose artistry bridges classical tradition with bold, imaginative vision. Based in Helsinki after training at the Sibelius Academy (before that Associated Studios, and Royal Holloway University of London), she performs passionately across Finland, the UK, and Europe.

Her soloist career reached a milestone with her debut as Kate Pinkerton with Savonlinna Opera Festival, following her celebrated performance as soprano soloist in Dvořák's Requiem at Helsinki Cathedral. Her reliability has earned her four consecutive invitations from the Finnish National Opera, while chorus appearances at Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and additional SOF productions, reflect her growing recognition across European stages.

What distinguishes Harding is her creative ownership. Throughout her career, she has directed, produced, and performed in her own project; most notably commissioning and creating the title role in Niki Main's new monoopera "It takes a child's Imagination: Adventures of Hunting a Snark" as her Master's final project. This integration of artistic vision and leadership is rare among emerging singers and speaks to her dedication to storytelling beyond interpretation alone.

A Winner of the 2025 Laulun Valo Competition, she brings technical discipline and emotional sincerity to every performance, whether singing Verdi, Puccini, contemporary premieres, or sacred works. Her collaborations with pianist Reetta Järä deepens her commitment to music as living communication rather than mere display.

With a voice grounded in classical and theatrical technique and a healthy artistic curiosity, Yolanda represents a new generation of singers who value craft, courage, and collaboration equally.
